As much as everyone loves rides, I think I would have to start with walk-throughs mainly to get started as these would be cheaper to construct. I wondered what ideas you guys have to make a walk-through exhibit exciting? What would you do to keep it interesting?
One idea I had is an enclosed tropical house with the floor covered with low growing ferns and mosses, and a network of raised wooden platforms bridging the walls of the house on all sides. Maybe a bridge system could take the visitor right across the center of the room, passing small animatronic Compies and very small Pterosaurs to the far end where a series of glass walled enclosures house turtles and small Crocs or Gators.
The main floor could have several species of small dinosaurs similar to Coelophysis darting in and out of the wild coverage, with pre-recorded sounds of a prehistoric environment heard from hidden speakers mounted in the surrounding trees.

That or a Tyrannosaurus that has supposedly escaped from its cage and is now stalking people. You could have it roaring in the distance, and getting louder each time, which would make people feel scared.
