Ferns seem to be present in the Jurassic Park movie as are in illustrations of dinosaur period forests and environments, so I think these would be a good addition to the park for general ground cover. They're pretty fast growing and cheap to cultivate too, which is a bonus but I wondered if today's species differed much from those around during the dino days?

You can just buy native ferns and brackens? But make sure you get rid of grass around any animatronics; grass hadn't evolved yet

I always think the common bracken in woods around here (East Midlands) looks good but i looked into it briefly and no longer think it'd be suitable. Pteridium Aquilinum (common Bracken) contains ptaquiloside which is a carcinogenic compound. The problem being that it is also found in the spores of the plant, I'm not sure if anyone would try to sue you for your spores causing their cancer but it's probably not worth the risk
